Why choose USPS Priority Mail over the less expensive First Class Mail?

There are two good reasons:

1. USPS Priority Mail includes insurance, USPS First Class Mail does not include insurance.
2. USPS Priority Mail is tracked more closely than USPS First Class Mail.

This can be especially important with many international destinations. However, please be aware shipping insurance comes with many disclaimers and limitations. For example: Shipping insurance will not reimburse items seized by customs officials.

In the end you must decide whether the risks outway the costs.
