Indonesia

The designated operator of Indonesia, Pos Indonesia, would like to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to changes to its business processes and customs application, starting on 2 September 2019, Pos Indonesia is restructuring its operational processes at the office of exchange in Jakarta.
This situation has led to delays in the processing and delivery of inbound items, including the response to the tracking events.
The delays are expected to continue until the end of September 2019.

Pos Indonesia informs other Union member countries and their designated operators that the situation in Papua and West Papua provinces is back to normal, and postal operations resumed on Wednesday, 18 September 2019.
Bermuda

The designated operator of Bermuda, Bermuda Post Office informs that Category 3 Hurricane Humberto is expected to hit Bermuda.
The mail collection and delivery service (letter post, parcels and EMS items) is being suspended from Wednesday, 18 September 2019 throughout the island.
United States

Please be advised that US Customs have increased individual inspections on shipments arriving into airports across the country, which is causing clearance delays.
The US customs authorities are currently stopping random flights to individually search all shipments.
The situation is being monitored and updates will be provided as soon there will be further information.
Hong Kong, China

The designated operator of Hong Kong, China, Hongkong Post, informs that postal operations are back to normal.
Technical Problems
Thailand

Thailand Post Co., Ltd (Thailand Post), informs that it is carrying out changes with respect to its track-and-trace systems.
Delays and disruptions in electronic data interchange (EDI) and the transmission of item status reports may be experienced during the transition period (20 September to 31 October 2019). Thailand Post will do its utmost to minimize any potential impacts on customers and all parties concerned.
